Modern Maps and Spatial Data
Denmark is implementing a broad eGovernment strategy in which geodata functions as a backbone. Through its role as Denmark's public geodata manager and provider, the Danish Geodata Agency is promoting Denmark's goals for more efficient public administration.

The establishment of a national geodata-based infrastructure presupposes that all Danish authorities that work with geodata have a common understanding and a solid base for cooperation. Through public partnerships, the Danish Geodata Agency is helping to ensure the streamlining and integration of geographic databases held by public authorities.
