Environmental Policy Division
The Environmental Policy Division is responsible for presenting cases to the Minister and Permanent Secretary as well as for overall coordination, communication and consultancy with other institutions under the Ministry, other ministries, the Danish Parliament's Environment and Regional Planning Committee, etc. at the national level.
The Environmental Policy Division includes the secretariat to the Minister, the press unit, and the management secretariat.

International Division
The International Division is responsible for presenting cases to the Minister and the Permanent Secretary as well as for overall coordination, communication and consultancy regarding international matters with the other institutions under the Ministry, other ministries, the Danish Parliament's Environment and Regional Planning Committee, the Europe Committee, etc. at the international level.
The International Division comprises EUK, which manages EU issue areas, and IK, which is responsible for Danish engagement in international environmental conventions.

Corporate Affairs Division
The Coperative Affairs Division is responsible for operation of the Department at the institutional and Minister levels. This includes: overall target and framework management, input from the Ministry to the Finance Act, budget management and presentation of accounts, efficiency strategies, organisation, corporate management and development, services for the management secretariat, legal advice for the Permanent Secretary as well as coperative information.
The Coperative Affairs Division includes the finance unit and the corporate secretariat.
